With the National Final season now drawing to a close, some people are now wondering what is going to happen between March and May (besides watching the American Song Contest). Well fear not, that’s what the Pre-Party season is for. Currently, there are five Pre-Parties in the lead-up to the contest in Turin.

Melfest WKND – 11th/12th March

About the Pre-Party: Melodifestivalklubben OGAE Sweden, usually holds Melfest WKND, consisting of a Pre-Party (held on Friday night before the Melodifestivalen final), and the Main Party after the final of the Swedish selection takes place. The pre-party is well known for being the only Pre-Party of the 2020 season to physically take place.

Acts: At the time of writing, Melfest WKND has confirmed that three-time Melodifestivalen participant Dotter will be among the performers for the weekend.

Venue: The show will take place at Nalen, an elegant 19th-century building, located in Stockholm.

Tickets: The tickets for the Pre-Party (11th March) are 380SEK for the Show, 540SEK for a Meet & Greet, with an Early Entrance. Tickets for the Main Party cost 300SEK. OGAE members can take advantage of lower rates for tickets, and further information about the tickets can be found right here.

Barcelona Eurovision Party – 26th March

About the Pre-Party: Barcelona Eurovision Party is the newest Pre-Party that is launched this season. Upon its launch, the party mentions that up to 20 participants of the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest will attend the Pre-Party. The Pre-Party will be hosted by Sharonne, Giuseppe Di Bella.

Acts: At the time of writing, four Eurovision 2022 participants have been revealed, and they are Ronela Hajati (Albania), We Are Domi (Czech Republic), Brooke (Ireland), Chanel (Spain). They will be joined by Marta Roure (Andorra, 2004), Conchita Wurst (Austria, 2014), Sunstroke Project (Moldova 2010, 2017), Senhit (San Marino, 2011, 2020, 2021), Rosa López (Spain, 2002),

Venue: The Pre-Part will take place at Sala Apolo in Barcelona.

Tickets: There are three ticket options, which are available for buyers to choose from:

  • General Entrance – This will give you entrance to the General Admission area – €48.00
  • Eurofan – You get Early Entry & a Collectors Lanyard) – €53.00
  • VIP Entrance – This comes with a Welcome Drink, Early Entry, VIP Area, Collectors Lanyard and a Poster – €108.00

London Eurovision Party – 3rd April

About the Pre-Party: One of the longest Eurovision Pre-Parties, the London Eurovision Party, will once again take place. The 2022 edition of the competition will be hosted by Paddy O’Connell; the voice of BBC Radio 4, alongside SuRie (United Kingdom, 2018), who will also treat the audience to a performance.

Acts: At the time of writing three acts have been confirmed for the Pre-Party and they are, Brooke (Ireland, 2022), Intelligent Music Project (Bulgaria, 2022), and VICTORIA (Bulgaria, 2020, 2021).

Venue: The new venue for the London Eurovision Party, will be the Hard Rock Hotel in Marble Arch, which is steps away from Hyde Park.

Tickets: There are three options for tickets:

  • General Admission – £59.50 + Fees
  • Early Entry – £74.50 + Fees
  • VIP – £139.50 + Fees – This comes with Fast Track & Early Entry, Pre-Show Meet & Greet (COVID-Dependent), Souvenir Lanyard & Laminate Pass, Reserved private VIP Area, on a raised level with seating, Goodie Bag, & Unique Merchandise Gifts.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, the event is currently ‘SOLD OUT’. However, the organizers have mentioned that there is a possibility that they may release tickets the week before the event.

Eurovision in Concert – 9th April

About the Pre-Party: Known for being the biggest Eurovision Pre-Party, fans from all over the world travel to the Dutch capital ‘Amsterdam’ to see the acts perform live. The show will be hosted once again by Edsilia Rombley (The Netherlands 1998, 2007) & Cornald Maas.

Acts: At the time of writing, the 2022 Eurovision acts confirmed are; Ronela Hajati (Albania), Jérémie Makiese (Belgium), Brooke (Ireland), Intelligent Music Project (Bulgaria), S10 (The Netherlands), with Maggie Macneal as the Support Act.

Venue: The 2022 edition of the Pre-Party will take place in AFAS Live in Amsterdam and is near Amsterdam Arena, Johan Cruiff ArenA, and Ziggo Dome.

Tickets: Regular Tickets are available for €52.50 each, and can be purchased here.

Pre-Party ES – 15th/16th April

About the Pre-Party: The Spanish Pre-Party in the capital of Spain will once again host the pre-party. The organizers of the event have invited all of the participating countries and will welcome all the interested participants with open arms to perform for the Spanish public. At the time of writing Krista Siegfrids (Finland 2013), has been confirmed as the host of the Welcome Pre-Party on the Friday evening.

Acts: At the time of writing, the acts confirmed for the Welcome Pre-Party ES on the Friday night are Melani Garcia (Spain 2019, Junior Eurovision), Blanca Paloma (Benidorm Fest 2022), Sara Deop (Benidorm Fest 2022), XEINN (Benidorm Fest 2022).

For the Pre-Party on the Saturday night the confirmed actrs are Ronela Hajati (Albania, 2022), Brooke (Ireland, 2022), Tanxugueiras (Benidorm Fest 2022), Rayden (Benidorm Fest 2022), Jérémie Makiese (Belgium).

Venue: The Pre-Party will take place in Sala Riviera in Madrid.

Tickets: There are numerous tickets packages still available and they are as follows:

  • PrePartyES Packs (Friday + Saturday) – General Pack – Tickets for both evenings in the General Zone and their subsequent parties – €60 + Fees
  • General Ticket (Saturday Evening) – Concert Ticket in the General Zone and the After-Party – €40 + Fees
  • Fan Ticket (Saturday Evening) – Concert Ticket in the Fan Zone, the After-Party & a Gift Kit – €55 + Fees
  • General Ticket (Friday Evening) – Concert Ticket in the General Zone and the After-Party – €30 + Fees
  • Fan Ticket (Friday Evening) – Concert Ticket in the Fan Zone, the After-Party – €40 + Fees
  • FamilyZone (Friday Evening) – €25 + Fees
  • FamilyZone (Saturday Evening) – €30 + Fees
  • FamilyZone (Friday + Saturday Evening) – €50 + Fees
