🌎Schedule for Eurovision Asia 2026 national selections published

The official Eurovision Asia website has shared the schedule of the national selections that are set to take place before the contest. In addition, it has revealed important information about the voting method and where to watch these national selections.

What national selections will take place?

According to the Eurovision Asia website, the following countries will hold a national selection to select their representative and song:

  • 🇧🇹 Bhutan: Rhythm of Bhutan, Tuesday 11 August, 15:00 CEST
  • 🇵🇭 Philippines: Philippine Selection Night, Sunday 30 August, 15:45 CEST
  • 🇰🇷 Republic of Korea: Korea’s Next Wave, Friday 4 September, 16:00 CEST
  • 🇳🇵 Nepal: Nepal Decides, Saturday 19 September, 15:15 CEST
  • 🇱🇦 Laos: Sieng Lao: The One, Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 September, 15:30 CEST
  • 🇹🇭 Thailand: Thailand’s Chosen One, Sundat 27 September, 13:00 CEST
  • 🇧🇩 Bangladesh: Voice of Bangladesh, Wednesday 30 September, 17:00 CEST

In addition to these shows, Malaysia will select its representative internally, who will be revealed on Sunday 15 August. The dates of other national selections will be announced at a later date.

Where can I watch the national selections and who can vote?

Similar to some of the Eurovision national finals, the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel, together with the competing broadcasters’ channels, will livestream the national finals listed above. Viewers at home from around the world will also be able to vote for their favorite songs, as the selections will include a “Rest of the World” vote.
