UMK 2025 runner up Goldielocks is back with new music! The Finnish singer-songwriter has this week released new single “Don’t Let It Get to You”, ahead of her sophomore album “ROCKSTARGF”.
About “Don’t Let It Get to You”
Goldielocks, who took part in the 2025 edition of Finland’s UMK national final, is back with new music. The “Made Of” singer has this week released the first single from her upcoming second album “ROCKSTARGF”. The new single, titled “Don’t Let It Get to You”, is a fun, indie-electro track, capturing the story of being “confidently vulnerable in love and relationships” according to the singer.
Speaking about her upcoming album “ROCKSTARGF”, Goldielocks said:
This era celebrates being unapologetically you. We all have vices, we all have our guilty pleasures, we all fall short. I’m a perfectionist who has spent years trying to do everything “correctly”. It’s exhausting. And I know many of you can relate. So, with this album, I wanted to experiment with a world where there’s no guilt in: taking up space, making mistakes or indulging. There’s always room for learning and becoming better, but no room for self-punishment. As your RockstarGF, I invite you on this cheeky little journey with me.
The new single was written by Goldielocks herself, with co-writing and production credits coming from Lauri Mäntynen, David Mørup and Fanny Forsander.

Who is Goldielocks?
Ella Mäntynen, who uses the stage name Goldielocks, is a Finnish singer-songwriter born in 2001. She began her musical interests at an early age, singing and playing the piano as a child before attending a music-focussed school in Finland. She also participated in theatre and acting, saying it influenced how she performs her music on stage. In 2020, Goldielocks signed a publishing deal with Finnish recording company M-Eazy Music. It was during this period that she began writing songs for other well-known Finnish artists including Isac Elliot, Abreu, and Sara Siipola. In 2022, Goldielocks signed a record deal with Sony Music Finland.
Goldielocks’ UMK journey
With her song “Made Of”, Goldielocks was announced as one of the participants of Finland’s UMK national final in 2025. Goldielocks performed “Made Of” in the UMK25 final at Nokia Arena, Tampere. Unable to perform live vocals due to a vocal strain, as advised by a doctor, she performed her set using pre-recorded vocals from her rehearsals.
At the close of voting in Tampere, Goldielocks would win the jury vote of the 2025 national final with 74 points. “Made Of” would place second in the audience televote with 229 points. The song ultimately placed second, with a total of 303 points, when the votes were combined. Goldielocks finished in the runner-up spot to eventual ESC representative Erika Vikman and her song “Ich Komme”.
