Aldegunda
Aldegunda has attempted to represent Lithuania twice before. In 2019, she performed I Want Your Love, and in 2021, tried again with Sit Down. She placed 8th in her 2021 heat.
Erica Jennings
Erica Jennings is no stranger to the Eurovision stage, having competed as part of SKAMP in 2001. Their song, You Got Style, finished 13th in the grand final. She also entered the previous Lithuanian national final Eurovizijos Atranka in 2018, qualifying for the final with her song The Truth, before pulling out due to issues with the jury system.
Gabrielė Goštautaitė
Gabrielė is another returner from last year’s competition, where she competed with the song Freedom. She placed 8th in her heat.
Gebrasy
Fan-favourite Gebrasy also returns for the second consecutive year. His song Where’d You Wanna Go? placed 2nd in last year’s final, just below The Roop. He previous participated in 2019 with Acceptance, which placed 7th in its heat.
Gintarė Korsakaitė
Gintarė was announced as an act competing in last year’s competition, but withdrew for unknown reasons.
Ieva Zasimauskaitė
Another familiar name to Eurovision fans, Ieva represented Lithuania in 2018 in Lisbon with When We’re Old. She finished in 12th place in the grand final. She was also a backing vocalist for Lithuania’s 2007 Junior Eurovision entrant, Lina Jurevičiūtė.
Lolita Zero
Drag queen Lolita Zero returns five years after her last appearance in the Lithuanian national selection, where she performed Get Frighten. Her pervious performance caused controversy over lip-syncing on stage!
Monika Linkytė
Our third former Eurovision performer of the selection, Monika represented Lithuania with This Time, a duet with Vaidas Baumila, in 2015. Prior to this, she competed in the 2007 national selection for Junior Eurovision, and then in Eurovizija in 2010, 2011 and 2012, with Give Away, Days Go By and Happy respectively. After the switch to Eurovizijos Atranka, she continued to compete in 2013 and 2014, before reaching the Eurovision stage in 2015. She placed 18th in the grand final.
Cosmic Bride
Cosmic Bride returns to Pabandom iš naujo following her entry last year, Solitary Star. She placed 9th in her heat.
Queen of Roses
Queens of Roses return for their third attempt at reaching the Eurovision stage. In 2017, they entered with the song Fisherman, which was knocked out in the 8th show of the contest. In 2019, their song Runaway placed 7th in its heat.
Rūta Loop
Another fan favourite, Rūta Loop placed 4th in 2020 with We Came From The Sun.
Titas ir Benas

Vilija Matačiūnaitė
Our final Eurovision alum of this list, Vilija represented Lithuania in 2014 with Attention. She placed 11th in the semi-final. Following this, she has returned to the national selection twice – first in 2017 with I See The Lights and secondly in 2021 under the stage name Sunday Afternoon with Open. She failed to make it past the heats on both occasions.
Voldemars Petersons ir the Break Hearters
Voldemars Petersons also returns from last year’s selection. His song Never Fall For You Again reached 3rd place in the final. His previous entries, 2019’s Dancing With The Stars and 2020’s Wings Of Freedom failed to make it past the heats.
Živilė Gedvilaitė
Živilė participated in the national selection in 2019 with the song Learn From Your Love. The song placed 12th in the semi-final.
What else do we know about Pabandom iš naujo?
The 2022 edition of Pabandom iš naujo will take place in January, with exact dates still to be confiremd. There will be three heats, two semi-finals, and a grand final, where the successors to The Roop will be selected to fly the flag for Lithuania on the Eurovision stage.
Lithuania’s Journey at Eurovision
The Baltic nation made its debut at the Eurovision Song contest in 1994, where Ovidijus Vyšniauskas represented them with the song “Lopšinė mylimai”, which placed 25th. Since then, Lithuania has participated 21 times and made the Grand Final 14 times. LT United gave Lithuania their best ever Eurovision result back in 2006, where the country placed 6th.
Lithuania’s latest Eurovision participation, saw them being represented by The Roop, who was due to represent them at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. For 2021, the group participated with “Discoteque” where they managed to place 8th overall, with 220 points.
