🇨🇿 We Are Domi announces creative team for Eurovision

Czech Eurovision entry We Are Domi announced their creative team for Eurovision on Facebook. In the announcement the band also revealed their plans for Eurovision pre-parties and events.

The who’s who

The We Are Domi creative team will consist of Matyáš Vorda and Vítek Bělohradský. Vorda will be responsible for the visual performance, while Bělohradský will be the stage director. They previously have worked together with acts such as Lake Malawi and Benny Christo. The team responsible for choreography and styling is yet to be announced. In the announcement We Are Domi also say that they are “very happy about how the team is coming together and everything is going in an absolutely great direction.”

And the what’s what

The band also revealed that they so far have confirmed participation for two pre-parties. While one of these is yet to be announced, they have confirmed their appearance at the Barcelona Eurovision Party on March 26.. They also hope to announce an appearance on a non-Czech TV programme soon. Other appearances and shows are also being looked at.

About We Are Domi

We Are Domi is a group consisting of three members. They participated with their song “Lights Off” in ESCZ, winning it in the process. We Are Domi have been drawn in the second half of the second semi-final of Eurovision. You can watch our interview with them here.

Czech Republic’s Eurovision Journey

The Czech Republic first appeared on the Eurovision stage in 2007. Their entry, Kabát with the song “Malá Dáma,” finished 28th in the semi-final. After not qualifying three years in a row, the Czech Republic withdrew from the contest until 2015. They first appeared in a Eurovision final in 2016, with “I Stand” being sang by Gabriel Gunčíková. Their best result to date was in 2018, with Mikolas Josef’s performance of “Lie to Me” scoring 281 points and finishing 6th. The Czech Republic’s most recent entry was “Omaga” by Benny Cristo, who finished 15th in his semi-final with 23 points.
