More and more countries continue to confirm that they will be participating in next year’s competition. The next country to confirm their participation is Poland, where TVP also revealed that a national selection will once again select their representative for 2023.
Representative to be selected on February 26
TVP has confirmed that its National Selection ‘Krajowe Eliminacje’ will be used to select Poland’s Eurovision 2023 representative. TVP is currently accepting submissions until 15.01.2023 at 22:00CET, with the ten finalists to be revealed by January 26, with the National Final set to take place on February 26. The 2023 Polish representative will be selecvted by a Jury and SMS voting (on a 50/50 basis), with the jury deciding in the case of a tie.

Poland’s Eurovision Journey
In 1994, Poland made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest, when Edyta Górniak represented them with the song āTo nie ja!ā, and placed 2nd (which is Polandās best result at the contest to date). Since then, Poland has participated 24 times (15 of which was in the Grand Final). Polandās recent Eurovision participation, saw them being represented by Ochman, who competed with āRiverā. Qualifying for the final, at the close of voting, he managed to place 12th with 151 points from the Jury and Televoters.
