After his successful debut at Melodifestivalen earlier this year, Anders Bagge is back with new music. This time in time for the Christmas holidays, as he releases his new single “The Sound of Christmas”
About “The Sound of Christmas”
Anders co-wrote “The Sound of Christmas” alongside Thomas G:son, Jimmy Jansson and Marcus
Winther-John, with the former two being known for writing numerous Melodifestivalen entries. The song is described as a song which makes you long for lit candles, snuggle up in the sofa and watch the snow fall outside the window.
Upon the release of his new single, Anders had the following to say:
“I truly love Christmas, a time to slow down and just reflect. It’s the time of the year when calmness surrounds me and I enjoy the slower pace which starts around Lucia and softly paves the way towards Christmas Eve which I celebrate with Johanna and the rest of my family, both people and animals, all
the way into the new year”

Anders Bagge’s Melodifestivalen Journey
In 2022, Anders Bagge was one of the artists who competed at Sweden’s Eurovision 2022 selection Melodifestivalen. In his participation in the competition he directly qualified to the Final of the competition where he placed 2nd overall with his entry “Bigger Than The Universe”.
