Junior Eurovision in Madrid is less than a month away. In the lead-up to the start of rehearsals, we will get to know a bit more about this year’s artists, their discography, and their Junior Eurovision 2024 journey so far. Next up, we will preview The Netherlands’ Stay Tuned.

Stay Tuned’s Junior Eurovision Journey So Far

Stay Tuned won over three other acts at Junior Songfestival back in September with their song “Music”, winning the kids jury and online vote and coming in second place with the adult jury. The song was written by Jermain van der Bogt and Willem Laseroms.

Who are Stay Tuned?

Stay Tuned consist of four young artists from the Netherlands–musical actress Chiara, Kazakhstan-born Inkar, The Voice Kids alum Miucha, and Niek, the guy of the group. Outside of the group, its members enjoy sports, with football, hockey, and tennis all represented in their hobbies.

The Netherlands’ Junior Eurovision Journey

The Netherlands has participated in every edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since its inception, first taking part in 2003. The country’s first entry came in the form of Roel, singing “Mijn ogen zeggen alles”. At the close of voting, the Netherlands finished in 11th place, earning 23 points. Since then, the Netherlands have taken part another 19 times, earning one victory in 2009 with Ralf Mackenbach singing “Click-Clack”.

In 2023, the Netherlands were represented by Sep and Jasmijn with their song “Holding On To You” in Nice. Once the combined scores were revealed, the Netherlands finished in 7th place. They received 52 points from the jury vote, and 70 from the public vote.,
