Yuval Raphael will represent Israel at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, in Basel, Switzerland.

Yuval Raphael has won the 2025 edition of HaKokhav HaBa. She was one of four finalists, and beat Valerie Hamaty, Red Band, and Moran Aharoni. At present her entry has not been released, and no date has been given on when that will happen.
Israel’s Eurovision Journey
Israel has a long and wealthy history in the Eurovision Song Contest, making their debut in 1973 with Ilanit and โEy Shamโ. Their first entry scored 97 points, placing 4th. Israel has since gone on to win the Contest on four separate occasions โ in 1978, 1979, 1998 and 2018.
Eden Golan represented Israel in Liverpool during the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Hurricane”. Performing at the second semi-final, Israel qualified for the final in 1st place. In the final itself, Eden finished in 5th place with a total of 375 points – 52 points from the jury and 323 from the televote.
