Ahead of her Eurovision 2025 performance in just a couple of day’s time, Tim spoke with Justyna Steczkowska for an interview. Justyna Steczkowska is representing Poland at Eurovision 2025 with her entry “GAJA”.

Together, Tim and Justyna spoke about her rehearsals and how she felt stepping onto the Eurovision stage for the second time. They also chat about how Justyna has changed as an artist compared to when she took to the stage back in 1995. She also opens up on how complex her performances can be, and even tells us if we can expect “Sama” on streaming services anytime soon!
Who is Justyna Steczkowska?
Justyna Steczkowska is no stranger to Eurovision, where she was the country’s second participant in the competition in 1995 with “Sama”, which placed 18th in Dublin. Throughout her career, Justyna Steczkowska has released 19 studio albums, performed in thousands of concerts, as well as being a coach for several seasons of The Voice of Poland.
Justyna Steczkowska will participate at Eurovision 2025 with “GAJA”, which was written by Dominic Buczkowski-Wojtaszek, Emilian Waluchowski, Justyna Steczkowska, and Patryk Kumór.
Poland’s Eurovision journey
In 1994, Poland made their debut at the Eurovision Song Contest represented by Edyta Górniak with the song “To nie ja!” and placed 2nd, Poland’s best result at the contest to date. Since then, Poland has participated 26 times, qualifying for the Grand Final 16 times.
Poland selected Luna and “The Tower” to represent them at Eurovision 2024. She received 35 points in the televote, placing twelfth in the first semifinal.
