While Swedish broadcaster SVT finalizes the list of artists participating in their Eurovision 2026 selection, Melodifestivalen, rumors regarding who will be participating in the 66th edition of the competition continue to be reported. This time, Smash Into Pieces, Meira Omar, Saga Ludvigsson and Eva Jumatate are the latest artists to be reported as part of the line-up, as reported by Aftonbladet.
A return for Smash Into Pieces
The first artist in this round-up is Smash Into Pieces, who have participated in the competition twice, where they managed to qualify directly on both occasions and placed third. For the past year, the band has been busy touring all the corners of the world and have released numerous singles, with their new album “ARMAHEAVEN” to be released on October 31st.
“Hush Hush”? – not for Meira Omar
The next artist in this round-up is Meira Omar, who is set to participate for a second time in the competition. She made her debut in this year’s contest with “Hush Hush”, where she managed to get a landslide win during the Finalkval round of the competition, where she ended up placing 10th in the final. Since Mello, Meira has released a single, “Meri Jaan” and has toured in Sweden during the summer.
Saga Ludvigsson didn’t seem to hate it so much
Another artist in this round-up that is set to participate for a second time is Saga Ludvigsson, who made her debut in Mello this year with “Hate You So Much”, where she managed to win her semi-final and made the final directly, where she placed 12th. Since then, Saga has released a single “Safe and Sorry” and has toured Sweden in the summer.
Another newcomer in the mix
Rounding off this round-up is a newcomer and it is in the form of Eva Jumatate, who is mostly known for participating in Talang (Sweden’s Got Talent) when she was 11 years old and placing 2nd in the competition. Since then, she has worked on the musical version of ‘Matilda’.
