๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Your Road to Vienna Begins: How to Get Tickets for Eurovision 2026

Eurovision
70th Eurovision in Vienna

The journey to Austria has officially begun. Fans dreaming of experiencing the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna can now register for tickets. With demand expected to skyrocket, this first registration phase is your essential gateway to securing a seat inside Wiener Stadthalle in May 2026.

Registration Opens: Your First Step Toward Vienna

The registration period is live right now and runs until 18 December 2025 at 23:59 CET.
The process is simple, but precision matters.

Hereโ€™s how to start:

  • Create a free Eurofan account on eurovision.com.
  • Verify that account, then check your inbox for instructions directing you to oeticket.com, the official ticket partner.
  • Register on oeticket using the exact same e-mail address as your Eurofan account.

You must have both accounts verified in order to purchase tickets in January. After registration closes, both platforms will authenticate your details.

A timeline of events

Fans can sign up from Monday 24 November, creating and verifying their Eurofan account before linking it to Oeticket, the eventโ€™s official ticketing partner. Registration closes on Thursday 18 December, after which Oeticket will begin a rigorous verification process. Those approved will receive a confirmation email on Friday 9 January, granting them access to the first ticket sale. The much-anticipated on-sale moment arrives on Tuesday 13 January at 13:00 CET, when personalised links and access codes sent 48 hours earlier will finally unlock the purchase platform. But enthusiasm must be tempered with caution: an access code does not guarantee a seat, as demand for Vienna 2026 is expected to outstrip supply. Additional ticket waves are planned later in the season for fans who miss out the first time.

Preview Shows vs Live Broadcast: Whatโ€™s the Difference?

The Eurovision experience extends far beyond the live broadcast. Each contest week includes two key preview shows:

โ€ข The Evening Preview (formerly known as the Jury Show) where all acts perform in full while international juries cast their official votes, complete with a randomized version of the points reveal;

โ€ข The Afternoon Preview, a family-friendly daytime rehearsal offering younger fans a gentler introduction to the spectacle, also featuring simulated qualifiers and scoring.

โ€ข The Live Broadcast remains the ultimate event, with Europe and Australia voting in real time and.

Seasoned fans often highlight that preview shows, which mirror nearly every moment of the televised contest, are significantly easier to secure tickets for; making them one of Eurovisionโ€™s best-kept secrets.
