Tickets all around the world have gone crazy! All tickets for the nine live shows in Vienna have sold out in record time, showing just how insanely popular the 70th edition of the contest has become!
Fastest Sell-Out in Years
When ticket sales opened on January 13, demand was so high that:
- Grand Final tickets sold out in just 14 minutes.
- All Semi-Final tickets were gone within 20 minutes.
- Tickets for preview shows and dress rehearsals disappeared within an hour of the sale opening.
The contest โ taking place at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria โ has one of the largest venue capacities in recent Eurovision history, yet even that wasnโt enough to meet the huge global interest. This level of demand confirms Eurovisionโs enduring appeal as one of the biggest live music events on the planet.
Whether you managed to get a ticket or not, itโs clear the shows in May will be packed with enthusiasm, and the atmosphere outside Viennaโs arenas may be just as electric.
Organisers Respond
Martin Green CBE, Director of the Eurovision Song Contest, said:
โThe response has been phenomenal. To see every single show sell out so quickly is a powerful reminder of what the Eurovision Song Contest represents – joy, togetherness, and shared experience at a time when that feels more important than ever. For those who registered and didnโt manage to secure tickets for their preferred show, there will be more opportunities later in the spring. And for fans who want to experience the Eurovision Song Contest closer to home look out for an exciting announcement very soon.โ
Host broadcaster ORFโs Executive Producer Michael Krรถn added:
“The overwhelming interest in all nine shows impressively confirms that the Eurovision Song Contest still brings people together even after seven decades. Itโs wonderful to see and motivates us all the more to deliver a truly special show.I would like to thank our partner oeticket for the smooth handling, and we look forward to celebrating a festival of music and joy with fans from all over the world in May at the Wiener Stadthalle.”
