Ahead of their participation in Pesma za Evroviziju 2026 (PZE),Serbia’s selection for Eurovision, Tetiana had the opportunity to speak with Jack Lupino band, Nebojša and Lara.They are making their debut in this year’s competition with their entry “Anrenalin”.

In the interview, the Jack Lupino band (Nebojša and Lara) talk about the importance of holding PZE and similar musical competitions so as to showcase the talents that didn’t reach their peak yet. Lara shares her fun and emotional reaction to seeing “Adrenalin” in the short list. Nebojša tells the story of his musical career as a part of a metal band. Both talents have opposite opinions on Serbian turbo folk and you have to follow the interview to hear them. Get to know Jack Lupino
Jack Lupino band is an association of artists led by its frontman Nebojša Ćulafić (aka Jack Lupino) and the singer Lara Pavičević originated in 2017 and known to Montenegrin audience. Their music speaks the lovers of funkadellic rock’ n ‘roll music, mixed with electronic sound of the future. The name of the band originates from Jack Lupino as a fictional character, major antagonist (and Owner of the Ragna Rock nightclub) of the 2001 third-person shooter game Max Payne. Nebojša Ćulafić is a songwriter and music producer working with many musical projects.
Serbia’s Eurovision journey
In 2007, Serbia made its debut as an independent country, having previously participated as part of Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro. There, they were represented by Marija Šerifović with “Molitva”, which managed to win the competition. Since their debut, Serbia has participated 16 times (13 of which, where they qualified for the Grand Final).
Princ represented Serbia at Eurovision 2025 in Basel with his song “Mila”.
