🇫🇮 Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen to represent Finland at Eurovision 2026

Following their win in UMK 2026, Linda Lampenius and Peter Parkkonen will represent Finland in Eurovision 2026 with their song “Liekinheitin”.

Earlier today, Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen confirmed on Linda’s Instagram story that if they were to win UMK 2026, they would represent Finland at Eurovision 2026 despite Israel’s participation. Here is what they said:

Tonight we are competing for the victory of UMK; if we get the honour of representing Finland at Eurovision, we will do it for the sake of music and humanity.

We think the decision allowing Israel to participate is wrong for Eurovision. Events in Palestine are inhuman and reprehensible.

With love, Linda and Pete
