After the conclusion of Semi-Final 5 of Melodifestivalen 2025, Sweden got straight to work to select the last two participants of this year’s final.

The results of the ‘Finalkval’

In each of the previous semi-finals, the artists who got the most votes (in both rounds of voting) advanced to the ‘Finalkval’ (Final Qualification) round. Five artists competed for the final two spots in next week’s final, which was awarded to Meira Omar and Robin Bengtsson.

The breakdown of the results is as follows:

In the second round, voting opens again via phone and app vote. Votes cast in this section are given out of a total of 800, and announced from the lowest-scoring candidate up. The combined score from the first and second rounds is used to calculate the qualifier.

In the case of a tie, the highest score in round 1 determines the winner.
