๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช Greczula: “I’m just super grateful to be here again”

Ahead of his participation in the Melodifestivalen 2026 final, Sweden’s selection for Eurovision 2026, Tim had the opportunity to speak with Eurovision alum Grezcula, who is participating in this week’s selection with his entry “Half Of Me”.

In their chat, Tim and Greczula discuss his shock at going straight through to the Melodifestivalen final, and how grateful he is to perform in front of 30,000 people on Saturday night. They also chat about Greczula’s plans for after the competition, including the possibility of representing Sweden at Eurovision in Vienna.

Who is Greczula?

Greczula is a Swedish Grammi nominated artist with platinum-selling singles and has made his debut at Melodifestivalen 2025. Greczula released his debut album “Live and Let Live” in 2022, and has performed at shows such as Allsรฅng pรฅ Skansen, the Swedish Grammis and has extensively toured Sweden.

Greczula will be participating at the Melodifestivalen 2026 final with his entry “Half Of Me”, which he co-wrote alongside Andreas Werling, Karl Ivert and Kian Sang.

Sweden’s Eurovision journey

In 1958, Sweden made their debut in the Eurovision Song Contest, with Alice Babs representing them with the song โ€œLilla stjรคrnaโ€ which placed fourth. Since their debut, the Scandinavian nation has managed to win seven times (1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, 2015 and 2023).

In 2025, Sweden was represented by Finnish group KAJ, singing “Bara bada bastu”. At the close of voting in the grand final, they had received 321 points, finishing in 4th place. 126 points were received by the jury, while the trio received 195 points from televoters.
