Czechia’s Eurovision 2026 representative Daniel Žižka has releases his new single “Since We’ve Changed”. The song is the first release from the Czech singer since performing “CROSSROADS” on the Eurovision stage in Vienna, in May.
About “Since We’ve Changed”
Daniel Žižka has released his first single since performing on the Eurovision stage in Vienna. The “CROSSROADS” singer says his new track “Since We’ve Changed” is a song six years in the making. The new single is a raw, emotional piano ballad that feels incredibly personal.Similarly to his Eurovision entry, “Since We’ve Changed” shows off Daniel’s incredible vocal abilities.
A music video will be released for the new single next week. Daniel took to instagram to tell fans:
This one is really special to me. I hope it brings back memories as beautiful as the ones it brought back for me… A six year old song that I took last year and rewrote from a whole new perspective. Just like us, the song has changed with time. I hope you’ll enjoy this ballad the same way I did making it.
The new single was written and composed by Daniel himself, with production from Petr Cemper who collaborated with the singer on “CROSSROADS”. “Since We’ve Changed” is released independently by Žižka, with distribution by Bloomdi.

Daniel Žižka’s Eurovision journey
Daniel Žižka is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter currently based in Prague. However, despite his young age, Daniel has already been touted as one of Czechia’s most promising young artists. He began his career in musical theatre before moving into writing and performing original songs. Under a previous name, he had already became known to the Czech public, but following his shift, he has released several singles, each to large success.
Czechia continued its internal selections for Eurovision 2026, selecting Daniel Žižka. His song for Eurovision 2026 – “CROSSROADS” – was written by Daniel himself, alongside Viliam BéreÅ¡. The song was able to qualify for the final from the second semi-final in Vienna, and ultimately finished in 16th place, scoring 113 points. Of these, only 9 came from the televote, whilst the remaining 104 points came from the jury.
