About “Forever June”
Two-time Melodifestivalen contestant and Swedish pop powerhouse Jacqline has released her debut EP. “Forever June” sees Jacqline deliver her most personal and emotional pop project to date. The EP contains 5 songs, exploring themes of identity, love and change. The tracks tell Jacqline’s story of daring to let go of the past, and finding comfort in the person she is becoming.
Jacqline says:
This EP feels like the most honest and natural music I’ve made so far. Each song represents a side of me, and together they tell the story of someone who has dared to let go of the past and become more grounded in herself. I feel more secure in who I am—both as a person and an artist—and that comes through in the music. You also get a glimpse of what’s to come. I’m definitely in my big love-song phase right now.
The title track, “Forever June”, is a romantic pop and R&B song about the kind of love that transforms everyday life into something magical, making summer seem endless according to the singer. The new track is joined by recent single “On Top”, as well as the singer’s Melodifestivalen 2026 entry “Woman”. New tracks “GPS” and “Fantasy Girl” complete the 5-song project.
Jacqline has written the tracks herself, writing and production help from the likes of Henry Nilsson, Oliver Lundström, Emilie Eriksson and Marlene Strand. The songs are released by Polydor Nordic on the Universal Music AB label.

Swedish singer and performer Jacqline is the stage name of 28 year old Jacqline Lie Hope Clarine People Mossberg Mounkassa. Jacqline was born into a musical family, with her Congolese father being a music producer and songwriter. The singer dropped out of school at the age of 16 to dedicate herself entirely to her music.

Jacqline’s Melodifestivalen history
Making her Melodifestivalen debut in 2024, Jacqline entered the Swedish song competition with the track “Effortless”. She would ultimately finish in 9th place in the Mello final that year, with 61 points.
Jacqline returned to Melodifestivalen in 2026 with her song “Woman”. The track placed 3rd in Heat 1 of Melodifestivalen, failing to qualify for the Grand Final directly, and placing Jacqline in the Final Qual round. “Woman” would ultimately place 4th in the Final Qual, meaning the singer missed out on a spot in the Melodifestivalen final on her second attempt.
