Fresh from their appearance in this year’s Melodifestivalen, Smash Into Pieces are back with new music. The Swedish rock group have released their latest single, “Miracle”. The track is the band’s first solo release since performing “Hollow” in the Melodifestivalen 2026 Final.
About “Miracle”
Smash Into Pieces have returned with the group’s first new release since placing 4th in the Melodifestivalen 2026 Final with “Hollow”. “Miracle”, in classic Smash Into Pieces style, is a big pop-rock track with growling vocals and a big, metal inspired drum chorus line.
Posting on Instagram, the band explained the meaning behind “Miracle”:
Miracle captures the feeling of standing at your lowest point while refusing to give up. [It is] an emotionally charged anthem about searching for hope when everything around you begins to fall apart. It is a song about confronting your inner darkness, silencing the noise, and believing that even the smallest spark can become the turning point.
The new single was written by the band themselves and is released on the band’s independent Smash Into Pieces label. The track is released alongside an instrumental version of the song.

Who are Smash Into Pieces?
Smash Into Pieces is a four-member rock group made up of Chris Adam Hedman Sörbye, Benjamin Jennebo, Per Bergquist, and APOC. Formed in 2008, the band has released several studio albums, toured extensively around the world, and accumulated more than a billion streams across their catalog. The band have found fame across Europe, with neon helmet-wearing drummer APOC gaining notoriety amongst young rock fans.
The Swedes have so far released 9 full length studio albums. All 3 of their Melodifestivalen songs have charted in the top 5 of the Swedish music charts. Smash Into Pieces have been touring across Sweden this Summer, with shows still to be played in Malmö, Nora and Östervåla, as well as in Germany later in the year.
Smash Into Pieces’ Melodifestivalen history
The band made their debut in Melodifestivalen in 2023, with their entry “Six Feet Under”, which made the final. The song eventually placed third, behind only Loreen and Marcus & Martinus, both of whom have since represented Sweden in Eurovision. Smash Into Pieces returned to Melodifestivalen in 2024 with “Heroes Are Calling”. Here, they once again placed third, with Marcus & Martinus taking the win.
In 2026, Smash Into Pieces announced their return to the Melodifestivalen stage. The four piece competed in Sweden’s national final with the song “Hollow”. The band placed top of the fan poll of heat 4, and once again qualified for the Melodifestivalen final. This time, the band placed 4th with 90 points in the Final of Mello.
