Still fresh from performing on the Eurovision stage in Vienna, Serbian rock band Lavina are back with a new single. “Fall Apart” is the first release from Lavina since their Grand Final appearance in Austria.
About “Fall Apart”
Following their success in the Eurovision 2026 Grand Final, Serbian rock band Lavina are back with a new single. “Fall Apart” sees a return to the English language for the band, after performing “Kraj mene” in Serbian for the Contest in Vienna. This latest release comes ahead of the band’s upcoming second album, due later in the year.
The track is classic Lavina pop-metal style. “Fall Apart” delivers the crushing, atmospheric guitar riffs and raw, introspective lyrics that Lavina have come to be known and loved for. The song is a blend of modern electro-metal and traditional progressive rock, a sound that has solidified Lavina as one of the most exciting metal bands in the Balkans. The track ends with Luka’s recognisable roar. The new single was written by the band themselves, and is released on their own independent LAVINA records music label.
Lavina are expected to release their sophomore album later in the year, and claim the record will be their “most ambitious project yet”. The band are also touring Europe through the autumn of 2026, with upcoming dates in the UK, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Italy and many other countries. Who are Lavina?
Lavina are a 6 piece progressive metal band, formed in 2020 in NiÅ¡, Serbia. The band is made up of Luka AranÄ‘elović on lead vocals, Pavle AranÄ‘elović on backing vocals and keys, Pavle Samardžić and Andrija Cvetanović on guitars, Nikola Petrović on bass guitar and Bojan Ilić on drums. Lavina released their first album “Odyssey” in 2022, and have since released a string of singles, all in English. Their music has led to various festival appearances and some domestic success in Serbia.
Lavina’s Eurovision history
In December 2025, it was announced that Lavina would participate in the Pesma za Evroviziju (PZE) 2026, with their song “Kraj mene”. This song is the first the band has released in Serbian. “Kraj mene” was written by the band themselves, as well as Ivan Jegdić. After qualifying from the second semi-final of the Serbian national selection, the band won PZE and were awarded the right to represent Serbia in the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Austria.
At this year’s Contest, Lavina were able to qualify for the Grand Final from the first Semi-Final. The band would ultimately finish in seventeenth place in the final, with 90 points. Of these, 52 points came from the televote, whilst 38 came from the juries.
