Rapper, singer-songwriter and all round Ukrainian superstar alyona alyona has links to both the Junior and adult Eurovision in recent years. She is, of course, most known for her third place finish in the Grand Final of the Contest in 2024, with Jerry Heil and the song “Teresa & Maria”. alyona alyona has also served as a jury member for the Ukrainian jury, during the 2021 Contest, and more recently has taken a prominent role in the Ukrainian Junior Eurovision delegation. The latest piece of music alyona alyona has appeared on is TARASYA’s “Дівчина з села”, featuring Ukrainian rappers alyona alyona and ДРІТА. “Дівчина з села”, meaning girl from the village when translated into English, is a female empowerment rap track about the joys of coming from rural Ukraine. It’s a bop.
🇮🇹 Angelina Mango – “Che Bella Vita”
Angelina Mango finished 7th in Malmö with her big pop-dance smash “La noia”. Since then, the Italian singer-songwriter has had a string of hits across Italian and wider Europe, including a collaboration with Marco Mengoni (Eurovision 2023). Latest release to feature Angelina comes in the form of indie-pop singer-songwriter ARIETE’s “Che Bella Vita”. The song is a beautiful piece of Italian indie-pop.
