Melodifestivalen 2025 winners KAJ are back with a new single. The Swedish speaking band from Finland, who represented Sweden in the Contest in Basel with their song “Bara Bada Bastu”, have this week released new track “MAN CAVE”.
About “MAN CAVE”
Humour pop group KAJ are back with a new single. The Melodifestivalen 2025 winners, and Basel Eurovision fourth placers have this week released new song “MAN CAVE”. The song is a love letter to a man’s sacred space – the man cave. The always cheeky, tongue-in-cheek lyrics from KAJ talk of leather armchairs, wood splitting axes, IPAs and Gladiator posters.
The track is the latest to come from the group, following June’s “Gelateria” release. The boys from VörÃ¥ tell fans “Open a cold one, put Gladiator on and drift into the weekend”.
The new single was written by Kevin, Axel and Jakob of the band themselves, with production and co-composition from Janne Hyöty and Kristofer Strandberg. The group are playing a number of shows across Sweden throughout November. For tickets information and live dates, visit their tour website.

KAJ’s Eurovision journey
KAJ entered Sweden’s Melodifestivalen national final with the song “Bara bada bastu” ahead of the Eurovision 2025 Song Contest in Basel. They performed in the 4th heat of the 2025 Melfest in Malmö Arena, qualifying directly to the Mello Final. In the Final, KAJ were declared the winners with 164 points, earning them the right to represent Sweden in the 2025 ESC. This made them the first entry sung in Swedish, sent by Sweden, since 1998.
After performing in the first of the Semi-Finals in Basel, KAJ qualified to the Saturday Grand Final of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. At the close of voting in the Grand Final, KAJ placed fourth with 321 points. Of these, 126 came from the international juries. They were also awarded 195 points from the televote, placing them in third place in that year’s public vote, for a combined finish of fourth place.
The following year, KAJ returned to the Melfest stage as an interval act during the 2026 Final. They were joined on stage by Mello legends Siw Malmkvist and pop group EMD for a medley of well-loved Melodifestivalen songs, finishing with their ESC entry “Bara Bada Bastu”.
