What’s changed in Rehearsal Two?
Rehearsing right now inside the Ahoy Arena is Lesley Roy, performing โMapsโ for Ireland.ย Here is what has changed since the first rehearsal, and what the team thinks of the changes.
The main standout point for Ireland’s rehearsal was the quicker cuts between camera shots and from one paper layout to the next. Lesley’s vocals have massively improved from the first run-through on Saturday, although in some bits she still does sound a little strained. An area that still needs working is that you can see the stage assistants hands running their hands through the reams of paper in the second chorus. Lesley is now barefoot the entire performance and following the first lines of the bridge, she runs to the small stage as the stage now turns from blue/grey to blue/orange. Lesley hits her marks perfectly and looks a lot more confident on stage – so an overall improvement from Ireland.
