๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Davina Michelle rules out Eurovision 2022 participation

Eurovision 2021 Interval act Davina Michelle has said that she will not be representing her country at Eurovision 2022. Davina performed in the Interval act ‘The Power of Water’ during the first Eurovision semi final. Speaking to Dutch website Shownieus she stated ‘the moment may just not be there yet‘ in regards to participating in next year’s contest in Italy.

It’s a no to 2022 but not a never!

Also in her chat with Shownieus Davina stated she had not been invited to participate by the Dutch broadcaster ARVOTROS. she stated as quoted by RTLnieuws ‘I never say never’. So it appears it is a no for Eurovision 2022, but watch this space in years to come. This news is sure to leave a few disappointed as many people were very impressed with her interval act performance in the first semi final of Eurovision back in May. A look into Davina Michelle’s career so far!

Davina’s career started in 2016. Davina took part in the fifth season of Idols, however she was eliminated in the early stages of the competition. It has not been all doom and gloom though. Since taking part in Idols Davina has gone on to support Pink on her ‘Beautiful Trauma’ tour. Davina has also gone on to have a string of number one hits in The Netherlands since 2018. It is clear Davina has a very successful career in The Netherlands and Dutch Eurovision fans would likely be very proud if she was ever to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest.
