After her successful participation at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, VICTORIA has taken a step back, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been working hard. Nearly six months on after her participation at the contest, VICTORIA is back. Earlier this week, she released a teaser “The Next Page“, which included a teaser of “The Worst”, which she released today.
About “The Worst”
VICTORIA’s latest release was co-written by VICTORIA alongside Maya Nalani, Oliver Bjorkvall, and Helena Larsson, with VICTORIA even designing the artwork for the single.
As we know, VICTORIA tends to release songs that are emotionally charged and she sticks to what she knows, and she does it well. The single talks about a broken relationship, and how one of the parties involved in the relationship is “The Worst”, and that they want to ensure that nobody experiences what they have experienced. Combining the emotional backstory with VICTORIA’s vocals makes it for good listening.

VICTORIA’s Eurovision Journey

However, Bulgaria internally selected her once again, where she represented the nation with “Growing Up is Getting Old”. Overall, her participation, saw Bulgaria qualifying once again, where she placed 11th receiving 170 points from the jury and televoters.
