🇱🇹 Pabandom Iš Naujo Heat 2 Results Revealed

Pabandom Iš Naujo, Lithuania’s national selection for Eurovision, returned for its second heat tonight, hosted by Leva Stasiulevičiūtė, Giedrius Masalskis, and Richardas Jonaitis. Find out the results, and which acts have made it to the semi-finals, below!

The results are the total of a combined jury and televote with equal weighting, and converted into 0-12 points using the Eurovision voting system.

The qualifying acts will participate in the semi-finals on 29th January and 5th February. The final of Pabandom Iš Naujo will take place on 12th February 2022.

Returning Artists

There are 36 artists competing in this year’s Pabandom iš naujo. Returners in this heat include Cosmic Bride, Titas & Benas, Queen of Roses and Ieva Zasimauskatiė. Ieva represented Lithuania in 201 8with the song “When We’re Old”.

Lithuania’s Journey at Eurovision

The Baltic nation made its debut at the Eurovision Song contest in 1994, where Ovidijus Vyšniauskas represented them with the song “Lopšinė mylimai”, which placed 25th. Since then, Lithuania has participated 21 times and made the Grand Final 14 times. LT United gave Lithuania their best ever Eurovision result back in 2006, where the country placed 6th.

Lithuania’s latest Eurovision participation, saw them being represented by The Roop, who was due to represent them at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. For 2021, the group participated with “Discoteque” where they managed to place 8th overall, with 220 points.
