Ahead of the semi-final of Latvia’s Eurovision national final ‘Supernova’ LTV has revealed the running order for next week’s show. In addition, the hosts who will be guiding us through the shows have been revealed.
Citi Zēni to open and Inspo to close
The position in which the competing entries are performing are as follows:

From seventeen, the number of participants will be reduced to ten for the Final on the 12th of February. The result will be decided by a mixture of Telephone/SMS Vote and a Jury, to select the ten participants. The jury and LTV will have an opportunity to select an eleventh participant to the final. However, they can also choose not to pick a wildcard.
Ketija Šēnberga & Lauris Reiniks to host Supernova 2022
In addition to the reveal of the running order for the semi-final, LTV has also confirmed that Ketija Šēnberga & Lauris Reiniks will be hosting this year’s show.
Ketija is familiar to Eurovision fans, after hosting Supernova FIVE times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2020). whilst Lauris Reiniks participated in ‘Eirodziesma’ five times. In addition he was part of F.L.Y. who competed in 2003 for Latvis with “Hello From Mars”
Latvia’s Eurovision Journey
Latvia made their Eurovision debut in 2000, finishing 3rd with “My Star” by Brainstorm. They have performed at every contest since and managed to win in 2002. Marie N sang “I Wanna,” scoring 176 points and bringing Eurovision to Riga in the process. Latvia also managed to finish in the top 10 two more times, in 2005 and 2015. Latvia’s most recent entry on the Eurovision stage was Samanta Tīna, who performed “The Moon Is Rising.” The song failed to qualify, finishing 17th in its semi-final.
