Following in from winning Supernova, Citi Zēni have now released the music video for their song “Eat Your Salad”. Citi Zēni will represent Latvia at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Italy. Latvia will perform in the first half of the first Eurovision 2022 semi-final, which is taking place on Tuesday May 10th 2022.

Citi Zēni’s promotional trail so far
Citi Zēni have confirmed their presence at several Eurovision 2022 pre-parties. You can see them at Barcelona Eurovision Party on March 26th. They will then travel to London Eurovision Party on April 3rd, after which they will perform at Eurovision In Concert on April 9th in Amsterdam. They will finish the tour on April 15th and 16th at Madrid’s Pre-Party-ES.
Latvia’s Eurovision Journey
Latvia made their Eurovision debut in 2000, finishing 3rd with “My Star” by Brainstorm. They have performed at every contest since and managed to win in 2002. Marie N sang “I Wanna,” scoring 176 points and bringing Eurovision to Riga in the process. Latvia also managed to finish in the top 10 two more times, in 2005 and 2015. Latvia’s most recent entry on the Eurovision stage was Samanta Tīna, who performed “The Moon Is Rising.” The song failed to qualify, finishing 17th in its semi-final.
