🇸🇪 Cornelia Jakobs to perform at Pre-Party ES

With the Pre-Party season in full swing, more and more countries are revealing their promotional plans. After taking a break in 2019, Sweden makes their return to Pre-Party ES as Eurovision Spain confirms that Cornelia Jakobs is among the performers in Madrid on April 15/16. This will be her third Pre-Party appearance after her recent appearance London Eurovision Party, and her upcoming appearance at Eurovision in Concert.

About the Pre-Party: The Spanish Pre-Party in the capital of Spain will once again host the pre-party. The organizers of the event have invited all of the participating countries and will welcome all the interested participants with open arms to perform for the Spanish public. At the time of writing Krista Siegfrids (Finland 2013), has been confirmed as the host of the Welcome Pre-Party on the Friday evening.

Sweden’s Eurovision Journey

In 1958, Sweden made their debut in the Eurovision Song Contest, with Alice Babs representing them with the song “Lilla stjärna” which placed fourth. Since their debut, the Scandinavian nation has managed to win six times (1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, and 2015).

In 2021, Sweden was represented by Tusse, who won the 60th edition of the competition and competed with the song “Voices”, which managed to qualify for the Grand Final and placed 14th with 109 points from the jury and televoters.
