It has been a couple of months since Slovenian Eurovision representatives LPS won EMA with their song “Disko”. In the run up to the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, the group have now released the music video for their song. LPS will take part in the first Eurovision semi-final on Tuesday May 10th. Slovenia will perform 5th in the running order.

LPS on the Pre-Party trail
So far LPS have only performed at one Eurovision pre-party, this was Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam. Angus did get a chance to speak with the group during his time there. You can watch Angus’s interview with LPS below.
Slovenia’s Eurovision Journey
In 1993, Slovenia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest with 1X Band and the song “Tih deževen dan”, which placed 22nd. Since their debut, they have participated 26 times (15 of which where they qualified for the Grand Final).
Slovenia’s recent Eurovision participation, saw them being represented by Ana Soklič, who represented them with the song “Amen”, which placed 13th in the first semi-final receiving 44 points from the jury and televoters.
