🇸🇮 LPS to perform at Eurovision in Concert

After winning the right to represent Slovenia at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, LPS will now be joining the Pre-Party Circuit. The organisers of Eurovision in Concert has confirmed that the group will be performing at Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam on the 9th of April at AFAS Live.

About the Pre-Party: Known for being the biggest Eurovision Pre-Party, fans from all over the world travel to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam to see the acts perform live. The show will be hosted once again by Edsilia Rombley (The Netherlands 1998, 2007) & Cornald Maas.

Acts: At the time of writing, the 2022 Eurovision acts confirmed are; Ronela Hajati (Albania)Rosa Linn, (Armenia)Jérémie Makiese (Belgium)Intelligent Music Project (Bulgaria)Mia Dimšić (Croatia)We Are Domi (Czech Republic)STEFAN (Estonia)The Rasmus (Finland)Alvan & Ahez (France), Malik Harris (Germany)Systur (Iceland)Brooke (Ireland)Citi Zēni (Latvia)Monika Liu (Lithuania)Emma Muscat (Malta)Vladana (Montenegro)S10 (The Netherlands)Subwoolfer (Norway)Krystian Ochman (Poland)WRS (Romania), LPS (Slovenia), Chanel (Spain) Cornelia Jakobs (Sweden), and Sam Ryder (United Kingdom)Linda WagenmakersMaggie MacnealGetty Kaspers, and Marga Bult are the Support Acts, whilst Eurovision 2022 winner Loreen will be a Special Guest.

Venue: The 2022 edition of the Pre-Party will take place in AFAS Live in Amsterdam and is near Amsterdam Arena, Johan Cruijff ArenA, and Ziggo Dome.

Slovenia’s Eurovision Journey 

In 1993, Slovenia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest with 1X Band and the song “Tih deževen dan”, which placed 22nd. Since their debut, they have participated 26 times (15 of which where they qualified for the Grand Final).

Slovenia’s recent Eurovision participation, saw them being represented by Ana Soklič, who represented them with the song “Amen”, which placed 13th in the first semi-final receiving 44 points from the jury and televoters.
