Today rehearsals for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 kicked off. Countries rehearsing on Day 2 include Portugal, Croatia, Denmark, Austria, Greece, Iceland, Norway and Armenia. Next to rehearse today was Austria’s LUM!X and Pia Maria.
LUM!X and Pia Maria’s first rehearsal
The next act to take to the Eurovision 2022 stage at the Pala Alpitour in Turin was Austria’s LUM!X and Pia Maria. They will sing the song “Halo” at Eurovision 2022 after they were selected to represent Austria earlier this year.
Following LUM!X and Pia Maria’s first rehearsal a clip of their rehearsal was posted on TikTok. The clip showed the them before and after they took to the Eurovision stage for the first time. The clip also gave us some insight into how well their first rehearsal went.
What did we learn about LUMIX and Pia Maria’s staging?
A big circular lighting rig (or should I say… Halo?) joins LUM!X and Pia Maria on stage. Lit in neon, the Austrian duo bring the nightclub party energy to the Pala Alpitour. And what do you need to do that? Flames and smoke jets, of course!
