Italy won the right to host the 2022 Eurovision Contest after Måneskin won the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam. Since then, Turin was selected to host the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, which is due to take place on the 10th, 12th, and 14th of May. 41 countries were set to be competing in the 66th edition of the competition. Armenia and Montenegro have returned, but Russia will not be participating in this year’s competition.
Rockin 1,000 will be part of the show. The Eurovillage will be returning in 2022, and will be located in Parco del Valentino. Find out more about the EuroClub and Eurovision Village venues!
Italy’s 2020 representative, Diodato, will perform as an interval act in the first semi-final, alongside a tribute to Italian dance music called The Dance of Beauty.
The slogan for this year’s Eurovision is “The Sound of Beauty” and you can see more about how the stage fits in with the concept here!
We would like to send our wishes to the Portuguese delegation and wish the individual delegation member who tested positive a speedy recovery.
