Bulgaria will not be taking part at Eurovision 2023 and most probably in the future editions as well. After analysis, it was decided that this program does not present an interest for the broadcaster any longer.BNT
With the withdrawal, it was not revealed if BNT will be airing the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, something which North Macedonia have confirmed they will despite their withdrawal. This is not the first time Bulgaria withdrew from the competition, BNT did not participate in 2014, 2015 and 2019 citing financial constraints as the reason.
