More names have been rumoured to take part as reported by Aftonbladet. This time it’s been reported that Emil Henrohn and Mello 2022 debutant THEOZ are rumoured to take part in next year’s competition.
First up on this round-up is a newcomer in the form Emil Henrohn, who has a massive following on TikTok with over 500k followers and 26 million likes. Aftonbladet reports that Emil has been wanting to take part for a long time and is happy that they get the chance.
The other act rumoured to take part is THEOZ, who made their debut in this year’s contest with “Som Du Vill”, which managed to qualify via the Semi-Final. THEOZ managed to place 7th with their entry in Stockholm.

- Heat 1 – February 4 – Gothenburg – Scandinavium
- Heat 2 – February 11 – Linköping – Saab Arena
- Heat 3 – February 18 – Lidköping – Sparbanken Arena
- Heat 4 – February 25 – Malmö – Malmö Arena
- Second Chance – March 4 – Örnsköldsvik – Hägglunds Arena
- Final – March 11 – Stockholm – Friends Arena

Sweden’s Eurovision Journey
In 1958, Sweden made their debut in the Eurovision Song Contest, with Alice Babs representing them with the song “Lilla stjärna” which placed fourth. Since its debut, the Scandinavian nation has managed to win six times (1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, and 2015).
In 2022, Sweden was represented by Cornelia Jakobs, who won the 61st edition of the competition and competed with the song “Hold Me Closer”, which managed to qualify for the Grand Final and placed 4th with 438 points from the jury and televoters.
