Just over a week ago after revealing “Carpe Diem”, the entry that will represent Slovenia in the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, it has been confirmed that Joker Out will be performing at this year’s Eurovision in Concert, which will take place on April 15.
Joker Out’s participation in Eurovision in Concert would make this their second Pre-Party event of the season, after being confirmed to perform at Pre-Party ES 2023 in Madrid on April 7.
Eurovision in Concert 2023
About the Pre-Party: Known for being the biggest Eurovision Pre-Party, fans from all over the world travel to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam to see the acts perform live. The concert will take place on April 15, 2023, at AFAS Live, which has been the home of the concert since 2018. The show will be hosted by Cornald Maas and Hila Noorzai.
Tickets: You are now able to purchase your tickets for Eurovision in Concert 2023 on TicketmasterNL. There are three ticket options.
- Early Access Ticket, which will allow you entry into the venue 15 minutes before regular ticketholders (SOLD OUT)
- Seated Tickets (SOLD OUT)
- Regular tickets
Acts: At the time of writing Mia Nicolai and Dion Cooper (The Netherlands 2023), Gustaph (Belgium 2023), and Joker Out (Slovenia 2023) has been announced to perform.
Slovenia’s Eurovision Journey
In 1993, Slovenia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest. Their first artist was 1X Band with the song “Tih deževen dan”, which placed 22nd. Since their debut, they have participated 26 times (15 of which, where they qualified for the Grand Final.)
Slovenia’s recent Eurovision participation, saw them being represented by LPS. The band represented Slovenia with the song “Disko”. At the close of voting, LPS placed 18th in the first semi-final; receiving 15 points from the jury and televoters, finishing last in the semi-final.
