The line-up for this year’s Pre-Parties continue to take shape, as we head into the final two weeks of the National Final season. This time, its Polish Eurovision Party that has an update, as its been announced that Latvia’s Eurovision 2023 representatives Sudden Lights will be among the performers on April 1 in Warsaw.
This is the second Pre-Party event of the season they are confirmed for, as they will also be performing in this year’s Pre-Party ES in Madrid on April 8.
Polish Eurovision Party
About the Pre-Party: The newest pre-party on the block, the Polish Eurovision Party has its first event in the Summer of 2022 where numerous of former Eurovision participants performed for the crowd. For 2023, the party has been brought forward in time for the Eurovision 2023 season, and will take place on April 1 at Praga Centrum. The event will be hosted by Konrad Zemlik and Poli Genova.

Acts: At the time of writing, Joker Out (Slovenia 2023), Wild Youth (Ireland 2023), and Sudden Lights (Latvia 2023) have been announced as the performers, whilst Ochman (Poland 2022) and Oceana (Unser Song für Dänemark) has been announced as special guests.
Latvia’s Eurovision Journey
Latvia made their Eurovision debut in 2000, finishing 3rd with “My Star” by Brainstorm. They have performed at every contest since and managed to win in 2002. Marie N sang “I Wanna,” scoring 176 points and bringing Eurovision to Riga in the process. Latvia also managed to finish in the top 10 two more times, in 2005 and 2015. Latvia’s most recent entry on the Eurovision stage was Citi Zeni, who performed “Eat Your Salad”. The song failed to qualify from the semi-final, finishing 14th with 55 points.
