Whew! What a National Final season it’s been!
As we now take a few weeks to prepare as Eurovision approaches, we are also looking back on some of the songs, shows and moments across the last few months that have filled our (mostly) Saturday evenings, had us glued to multiple screens and bolstered our playlists with new music, with the TES National Final Awards 2023!
This year marks the third edition of the TES National Final Awards. Our previous Song Of The Season award has gone to:
- 2022: Terra – Tanxugueiras
- 2021: KEiiNO – Monument
Who will join their ranks in 2023!?
A few things you should know about the awards:
- You can vote for your favourite (non-winning) songs from each national final of 2023! There are also categories for you to choose your favourite non-winning song of the season, your favourite winning song, your most surprising winning song, your favourite overall national final, and your meme or moment of the season.
- You do not need to vote in every category! Just choose your favourites for each of the national finals you watched, and skip those you didn’t get the chance to see or listen to.
- We are not including the winning songs in any of the other categories aside from the two dedicated to them as we will be celebrating them in our Eurovision awards following the contest over the summer!
- We are also only including songs which made it to the competition stage of the national final – withdrawn or disqualified entries have not been included unless they competed in at least one round of the contest (for example, Reฤกina by Aidan has been included as it was performed in the heats of MESC, while Alle Frauen in mir sind mรผde is not included as it was not performed in Unser Lied fรผr Liverpool).

You can vote up until Sunday 16th April at 23.59pm GMT. After that, keep an eye out for a special episode of That Eurovision Podcast for the winners. We’ll also reveal them before rehearsals start on That Eurovision Site!
