Following Teya and Salena’s first rehearsal a clip of what went on was posted on the official TikTok account of the Eurovision Song Contest. What did we learn about Austria’s staging?

Teya and Salena previously revealed their stage outfits for this year, both with hints of red with Teya in black and Salena in white. According to the Eurovision live-blog, they’ve come armed with the dance first seen in the music video which the audience will hopefully have down-to-pat by this time next week.
What we thought of Teya and Salena’s first rehearsal
After Teya and Salena’s first rehearsal we gave our initial thoughts on the snippet that we saw.
*We will update this with our reaction to Austria’s first rehearsal when the Tiktok becomes available!*
Who are Teya and Salena
Teya has previous history in Eurovision having previously tried to represent her ancestral home of Serbia in the 2020 contest. Performing under the name Thea Devy, her song ‘Sudnji Dan’ managed to make the final of Beovizija 2020, and ultimately finished 10th overall. Salena is also no newcomer to musical competitions having previously been a contestant on the 2017 edition of The Voice of Germany. Their song “Who The Hell is Edgar” was written by Teodora Spirić, Selina-Maria Edbauer, Ronald Janeček and Pele Loriano.
Austria’s Eurovision Journey
In 1957, Austria made their debut into the Eurovision Song Contest, where Bob Martin represented the landlocked nation with the song “Wohin, kleines Pony?”. At the close of voting, it manages to place 10th overall. Since their debut, Austria has participated 54 times (being in the final 47 times), and have won the competition on two occasions (1966 and 2014 respectively).
In 2021, Austria was represented by duo LUM!X and Pia Maria with the song “Halo”, where they managed to placed 15th in the semi-final; receiving 42 points from the professional juries and televoters.
