American Eurofans like myself are cheering this week, because not one but two Eurovision winners have now announced performances stateside! Both will be performing in my city, and I’ll definitely try to make at least one show.

Kalush Orchestra’s dates span November and see the Eurovision 2022 winners performing in the US and Canada, while Netta, who won for Israel in 2018, takes “the Wonderful and Great Tour” to the US, UK, Netherlands, and Germany this fall.

The tours will converge in the US’ capital city, Washington D. C., during the first full week of November; Netta will perform there on Thursday the 9th, and Kalush follows three days later on the 12th.

Kalush Orchestra: North America 2023

The Ukrainian band kicks off their tour in Vancouver, Canada, on November 1st, and will perform in California, Texas, the Northeast and Midwest regions, and Florida before returning to Canada for five more shows during the last week of November.

Kalush announced the tour via Instagram, but the tour will feature all six members of the Kalush Orchestra project group.

Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022 with their song “Stefania”. Throughout the ongoing invasion of Ukraine by Russia, “Stefania” has become a song of resistance and solidarity among the Ukrainian people.

Netta: “The Wonderful and Great Tour”

Netta starts her tour in September, where she will perform in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Cologne. She then resumes it in November, beginning her US leg in yours truly’s hometown of Philadelphia, and will play across the East Coast and in California before her final show in Denver, Colorado.

These shows were announced back in May, but we’re re-upping them in light of Kalush Orchestra’s tour announcement.

Netta won Eurovision for Israel in 2018 with her female-empowerment song “Toy”.

Will you be catching Netta or Kalush Orchestra on tour? Where should they play next? As always, let us know what you think by commenting below. Also, be sure to follow โ€˜That Eurovision Siteโ€™ on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tiktok as we start looking at Eurovision 2024!
