With just over a month to go, we will soon get to hear all of the entries competing at Junior Eurovision 2023, with the next entry being revealed tomorrow, as Melissa and Ranya’s entry for Italy will be released.
Music video to premiere on Junior Eurovision’s Youtube page
The duo’s entry will be released on the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel and the official music video of their entry will premiere at 12:00 CEST. The text and music for their entry were written by Franco Fasano and Marco Iardella, and produced by Mario Natale.
Italy’s Junior Eurovision Journey
Italy made its Junior Eurovision debut in 2014 with Vincenzo Cantiello and the song โTu primo grande amoreโ. The performance scored 159 points on its way to a victory. Since winning, Italy’s best result is a 3rd place in the 2016 contest. Italy has so far participated seven times in the contest.
Italy’s most recent participation was in 2022. Chanel Dilecta’s “BLA, BLA, BLA” finished 11th with 95 points from the jury and online voters.
