In the lead-up to this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the participating countries continue to reveal their Junior Eurovision 2023 entries. This time, its Italy’s turn as Melissa & Ranya’s Junior Eurovision 2023 entry “Un Mondo Giusto” was released.

About “Un Mondo Giusto”

Italy’s entry for Nice “Un Mondo Giusto” (A Fair World) was written by Franco Fasano and Marco Iardella, and produced by Mario Natale, with the entry being performed both in Italian and English. The song was published by Edizioni Fucsia, Insani Logoritmi, and Universal Music Italy and is the beginning of the collaboration between Virgin Music LAS/Universal Music Italy who oversaw the production of the track.

Italy’s Junior Eurovision Journey

Italy made its Junior Eurovision debut in 2014 with Vincenzo Cantiello and the song โ€œTu primo grande amoreโ€. The performance scored 159 points on its way to a victory. Since winning, Italy’s best result is a 3rd place in the 2016 contest. Italy has so far participated seven times in the contest.

Italy’s most recent participation was in 2022. Chanel Dilecta’s “BLA, BLA, BLA” finished 11th with 95 points from the jury and online voters.
