Nearly a month since winning the right to represent Poland in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, the preparations for this year’s contest are in full swing, and before her participation in Nice, the music video of Maja Krzyżewska’s entry “I Just Need A Friend” has been released.
An emotional and heartfelt video
The music video, which was directed by Dawid Ziemba sees Maja in the countryside, where we see Maja going on a journey of making friends. From being alone, and being joined by a dog along the way, we see Maja ending up making friends at the end of the video, which you can watch below:

Poland’s Junior Eurovision Journey
In 2003, Poland was one of the countries that participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, where they were represented by Katarzyna Żurawik with the song “Coś mnie nosi” which placed 16th. Poland participated for another year, before going on a 12-year break and returning in 2016. Since returning to the competition, they have participated five times, and managing to achieve a back-to-back win in 2018 and 2019.
Their recent participation in 2022, saw them being represented by Laura, with the song “To The Moon” which placed 10th overall, receiving 96 points from the jury and online vote combined.
