🇸🇮 Raiven to perform at Barcelona Eurovision Party 2024

It has been confirmed that Slovenia’s 2024 Eurovision representative Raiven will perform at Barcelona Eurovision Party 2024. Raiven will sing the song “Veronika” at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö.

About the Pre-Party: After the success of its expansion in 2023, Barcelona Eurovision Party will once again return in 2024 with the same format, which will take place between the 4th and 6th of April.

The three nights and the acts confirmed for this year’s event are as follows:

April 4 – EUROfansCLUB will be the first night of the Pre-Party and will be the welcome party, featuring Eurovision DJs, and will take place at Sala Safari (Plaza España).

April 5 – ESC Young – A new addition for 2024, which will consist of young artists from Junior Eurovision and the Spanish TV Talent Show Eufòria. The event will take place at La Terrrazza between 18:00CET – 21:00CET, and will be hosted by Estela. At the time of writing, Elena Escorcia (Eufòria), and Domènec (Eufòria) are the acts confirmed so far.

April 5 – Euro Justice – Returning once again in 2024, the event is for artists who fans beleive deserved a better result, with the organisers giving them an opportunity to perform for Eurofans. The event will take place at La Terrrazza from 21:00CET and will be hosted by Rosa López (Spain 2002).

April 6 – Barcelona Eurovision Party – The main event will take place at San Jordi Club, with Alex Marteen confirmed as one of the hosts.. At the time of writing, Albina (Croatia 2021), Herreys (Sweden 1984), Cornelia Jakobs (Sweden 2023), and Raiven (Slovenia 2024) are the acts confirmed so far.

Slovenia’s Eurovision Journey

In 1993, Slovenia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest with 1X Band and the song “Tih deževen dan”, which placed 22nd. Since their debut, they have participated 27 times – of which, 15 were where they qualified for the Grand Final.

Slovenia’s recent Eurovision participation saw them being represented by Joker Out, who sang the song “Carpe Diem”. Performing at the second semi-final, the band placed 5th, therefore qualifying for the final for the first time since 2019. At the final, Slovenia finished in 21st place, receiving 78 points. Of these, 33 came from the jury and 45 from the televote.
