🇬🇧 Olly Alexander to headline at London Eurovision Party 2024

The United Kingdom’s Eurovision 2024 representative Olly Alexander has announced he will be the headliner at the London Eurovision Party on April 7th. Following the reveal of his selection in December, Olly will represent the United Kingdom at Eurovision in Malmö in May 2024 with the song “Dizzy”.

In addition to performing at London Eurovision Party, it has been revealed that Olly will also perform at Pre-Party ES in Madrid on 30th March, Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam on 13th April, and Nordic Eurovision Party in Stockholm on 14th April.

About The Pre-Party: London Eurovision Party (LEP) is the originator of the Pre-Party concept, and will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year. The show will take place at Here@Outernet in central London on April 7th 2024.

The hosts of the party have also been confirmed as broadcasters Paddy O’Connell, Rylan and Scott Mills, and singer Lucie Jones (United Kingdom 2017). Lucie will also perform at the event.

The United Kingdom’s Eurovision Journey

The UK is one of the most successful countries at the Eurovision Song Contest. Debuting at the second edition ever of the Contest in 1957, the United Kingdom won the competition on five separate occasions. Mae Muller represented the UK on home soil in Liverpool with her song “I Wrote A Song”. At the close of voting, the UK finished 25th in a field of 26, earning a total of 24 points. Of these, 15 points came from the jury, whilst the remaining 9 came from the televote.
