🇸🇪 Marcus and Martinus to perform at London Eurovision Party 2024

Sweden’s Eurovision 2024 representatives Marcus and Martinus have confirmed they will perform at the London Eurovision Party on April 7th. Following their win at Melodifestivalen 2024 , Marcus and Martinus will represent Sweden at Eurovision in Malmö in May 2024 with the song “Unforgettable”.

In addition to performing at London Eurovision Party, it has been revealed that Marcus and Martinus will also perform at Eurovision In Concert in Amsterdam, PreParty ES in Madrid, Nordic Music Celebration in Oslo and Nordic Eurovision Party in Stockholm.

About The Pre-Party: London Eurovision Party (LEP) is the originator of the Pre-Party concept, and will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year. The show will take place at Here@Outernet in central London on April 7th 2024.

The hosts of the party will be broadcasters Paddy O’Connell, Rylan and Scott Mills, and singer Lucie Jones (United Kingdom 2017). Lucie will also perform at the event.

Sweden’s Eurovision Journey

In 1958, Sweden made their debut in the Eurovision Song Contest, with Alice Babs representing them with the song “Lilla stjärna” which placed fourth. Since their debut, the Scandinavian nation has managed to win seven times (1974, 1984, 1991, 1999, 2012, 2015 and 2023).

In 2023, Loreen returned to represent Sweden, who won the 2012 edition of the competition. She competed with the song “Tattoo”, which managed to qualify for the Grand Final, and placed 1st with 583 points. Loreen won the jury vote, accruing 340 points from the jury, earning an additional 243 points from the televote. This now means Sweden matches Ireland for the record of most wins in Eurovision history.
