Eurovision stars Benjamin Ingrosso (Sweden 2018) and Olly Alexander (United Kingdom 2024) have teamed up on a new version of Benjamin’s hit single “Kite”.
About “Kite”
The original version of “Kite” was released at the end of January, and went to number 1 in Sweden. Since then it has been streamed nearly 10 million times on Spotify.
About the new version of the track, Benjamin Ingrosso says:
βCanβt wait for people to hear this track. Iβve been a big fan of Ollyβs music for many years and it feels very exciting to be releasing a song together with him now. Olly is an incredible person as well and extremely talented creative who I feel has added an amazing dimension to βKiteβ.β
Olly Alexander says:
βWhen I first heard Kite, it made me feel sunny and happy, thank you Benjamin! It was a great experience working together, heβs a really sweet guy and Iβm excited to be on this gem of a song.β
This collaboration re-release of “Kite” comes ahead of Benjamin’s upcoming European tour, and Olly’s appearance at several Eurovision Pre-Parties this year.

Who are Benjamin Ingrosso and Olly Alexander?
Benjamin Ingrosso is a Swedish/Italian singer and songwriter. He is best known to Eurovision fans as the Swedish representative for Eurovision in 2018, where his song “Dance You Off” came 7th in the contest. Since then he has released four albums, of which 3 have reached number 1 in Sweden. He also has his own TV show (“Benjamin’s” on TV4) and will release his new album this year while also touring Europe and Sweden.
Olly Alexander is an English singer and actor who rose to fame as the lead singer of Years and Years. He released 3 albums with them of which two reached number 1 in the UK. The group officially disbanded in late 2023 and Olly has since been releasing music solo. Olly was announced as the UK Eurovision representative in November 2023, and his first solo single is the Eurovision 2024 UK entry “Dizzy”.
