Ahead of tomorrow’s second semi-final at Eurovision 2024, the EBU revealed that 2023 runner-up Käärijä will perform as an interval act.
Käärijä’s Performance
As of the time of writing, no details have been revealed about Käärijä’s performance, aside from that he will perform. Alongside Käärijä’s performance, there will also be a sing-along featuring Eurovision legends Helena Paparizou, Charlotte Perrelli and Sertab Erener. Käärijä will be doing double duty in Malmö, as he will also announce Finland’s jury points.
Käärijä’s Eurovision Journey
Finnish singer and rapper Käärijä represented Finland in 2023 after winning the Finnish National Final, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, with his song “Cha Cha Cha”. At Eurovision, he qualified for the final, winning the first semi-final with 177 points from the televote. During the final he scored 150 with the juries but came first in the televote with 376 points, coming in second overall.

Swedes really screwed up Käärijä’s performance, and just concentrated on self centered self praising. We saw worst side of sweden. They are losing their grip on putting up large scale shows.
Personally I hope sweden never wins anything anymore, until they learn some humility.
