The Junior Eurovision 2024 season is now well underway. Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS have now revealed snippets of the entries competing in their national final Junior Songfestival 2024.

The artists competing in the national final were revealed last month. Now AVROTROS have revealed the song titles, as well as snippets of the entries for the Junior Songfestival 2024 hopefuls. In the table below you can see the entries attached to each artist.

It has also been confirmed by AVROTROS that Junior Songfestival 2024 will take place on September 21st. As well as the snippets of the entries being revealed, the 4 acts have released a “common song”, which is entitled “Move on”. You can listen to “Move on” by checking the link below.

The Netherlands’ Junior Eurovision Journey

The Netherlands has participated in every edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since its inception, first taking part in 2003. The country’s first entry came in the form of Roel, singing “Mijn ogen zeggen alles”. At the close of voting, the Netherlands finished in 11th place, earning 23 points. Since then, the Netherlands have taken part another 19 times, earning one victory in 2009 with Ralf Mackenbach singing “Click-Clack”.

In 2023, the Netherlands were represented by Sep and Jasmijn with their song “Holding On To You” in Nice. Once the combined scores were revealed, the Netherlands finished in 7th place. They received 52 points from the jury vote, and 70 from the public vote.
